Mary has her BA degree from La Sierra University, where she worked in the admissions office for 3 years. She has completed over 35 graduate units toward a Masters in Teaching. Mary homeschooled children, her own four (ranging from 15-23yrs old) and others as needed for 16 years before coming to the classroom in 2023. Mary is currently in Simi Valley, teaching 5th through 8th grade.
Mary has worked as a co-op teacher/director, professional math tutor, a sewing teacher, a seamstress, a balloon artist, a children’s pastor, children's ministry director, and the children/teen program director for the Fellowship of Christian Magician's international convention.
She can be found surrounded by children most days, and loves instilling a love for learning and a heart for Jesus in each one of them.
